Case Study:
Norton Folgate
Norton Folgate
Norton Folgate, also known as Blossom Street, is a landmark project delivered successfully for our client Skanska and their customer British Land.
Designed by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, Stanton Williams, Morris+Company and DSDHA, our works packages spanned five buildings across what can only be described as a neighbourhood in the City of London.
We delivered the structural carpentry package incorporating joists, beams, pitched roofs along with strengthening works to retained floors and roofs. The original floor boards were carefully removed, refurbished and refitted in many areas and the character of the Victorian warehouses was retained whilst meeting modern acoustic and fire performance.
We supplied and installed the hardwood windows and shopfronts across the scheme which have successfully brought modern performance standards to the sensitive retention of the heritage facade.
We also delivered the WC Fit Out and Joinery packages comprising various finishes and features within each distinct block and worked with the different stakeholders to produce what we believe is a unique and varied project which we are hugely proud of.
